You can hire South Shields Museum for a number of private events including meetings, training courses and children's parties as well as corporate functions such as evening and drinks receptions.
Evening functions and receptions
The whole museum is available to hire for social functions, drinks receptions and corporate events. Guests can enjoy a private view of the galleries whilst enjoying food and wine. Alternatively, you can hire a smaller space such as our meeting and learning rooms for a smaller event or kids' party.
Meetings, training courses and seminars
The meeting and learning rooms are well-equipped and, being located on the main high street in South Shields, the Museum is a convenient location for training sessions, meetings and seminars.
Children's birthday parties
Why not have your child's birthday party at South Shields Museum? Our learning room can accommodate up to 30 children and is decorated with fun birthday banners. Children can visit the museum and then play games and enjoy their party tea in the private learning room.
Catering
We can provide event catering including buffets, conference catering and drinks. Ask us about our menus when you get in touch.
